Held in Stone began with a simple idea: that the things we surround ourselves with should feel as permanent as the memories they represent. Natural Welsh slate has been quarried and shaped for centuries — it carries weight, texture, and a quiet authority that no synthetic material can replicate.

Every piece is laser-engraved by hand in our small studio. We work with a single slab at a time, taking care over every line and edge. Whether it is a statement wall piece for a living room or a set of coasters for a kitchen table, the same attention goes into each one.
